As I wrote in the introduction to my second novel Shampires, I’ve faced a number of significant personal and professional challenges over the past few years. One major difficulty was that the server hosting my original Web site failed. Recovering the data and rebuilding the site has been problematic, and I’m still in the market for a LAMP/WordPress consultant who might be able to help me. While I hope to retrieve some of my previous blog posts at some point, I’ve decided to move my Web site to a new hosting company in the hopes that the problem won’t repeat itself.
My goals for 2015 are to do a better job of marketing my existing titles and to make some forward progress on the third and fourth books in the Michael Alexander/Kari Logan series. For far too long I’ve been thrashing around in survival mode, dealing with the immediate issues that surface in life. Now it’s time to start looking at my long-term goals, making some changes, moving forward and perhaps achieving a few dreams along the way.
So, here’s to new beginnings!
